Some aircraft require the propeller to be moved forward from the engine propeller flange, in order to ensure the spinner clears the aircaft cowling.
In these case's, a propeller spacer or extension is fitted. Although Airmaster has a list of specifications detailing the spacer requirements of each aircraft type, sometimes it is important to check that these specifications are correct for your particular aircraft. Build tolerances and modifications mean the actual distance from the engine to the cowl varies from aircraft to aircraft.
Use the instructions below to calculate the exact spacer requirement for your aircraft, and forward this information to Airmaster when ordering a propeller system.
